Is the Academy suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. You can start with beginner-friendly projects and gradually move on to more detailed projects and new techniques. Everything is explained step by step, so you do not need any previous needle felting experience.
What is included in my Academy membership?
Your membership gives you access to the Academy video tutorials, digital patterns, crochet & knit outfit patterns and the Academy community. New projects are also added during your membership.
Are wool and materials included?
No. The Academy is a digital membership, so wool, felting needles and other materials are not included. You can use supplies you already have or order what you need from The Wool Family webshop.
How long do I have access to the Academy?
Your membership gives you 12 months of access to The Wool Family Academy.
How can I pay for my 12-month membership?
You can choose to pay €179.50 once or €17.95 per month for 12 months. Both payment options are for the same annual membership and give you 12 months of Academy access.
Can I watch the tutorials more than once?
Yes. During your membership you can pause, rewind and rewatch the tutorials as often as you like, and continue entirely at your own pace.
What can I use the Academy community for?
The community is a place to ask questions when you get stuck, share what you are making and get inspired by other makers in the Academy.
How does the 15% member discount work?
During your active Academy membership you receive a 15% member discount on purchases in The Wool Family webshop.
I already own a Wool Family book or kit. Is the Academy still useful?
Yes. The Academy gives you video guidance, additional digital projects, new content and access to the community, so it works very well alongside your Wool Family book or kit.
